Edward Jones, born 2000. Honorary Freeman of The Worshipful Company of Painter Stainers
lives and works in London
Jones recieved his BA (hons) Fine Art from City & Guilds of London Art School (2023). Recent awards include Gilchrist Fisher Award 2024, Freelands Painting Prize 2023 and a subsequent residency at the storied Porthmeor Studio 5 2024 courtsey of the Freelands Foundation & Borlase Smart John Wells Trust. Recent group showings include British Art at Albermarle, Paul Smith, Mayfair London (2023), New Blood Emerging Art Award, Saatchi Gallery, London (2023), Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair (2023 & 2024). Jones has also exhibited several times with Rhodes Gallery, twice exhibting works on paper for Origins (2023 & 2024) and also a dearthy-minded Landscape painting show entitled Uplands (2024).
